Purpose This qualification is designed for mental health service users or those people who have struggled to return to work or study due to a psychological trauma. It is designed to equipped you with all the skills that you require to rejoin the workforce or to plan for future study in further/higher education. This is a comprehensive programme that combines tailored support with an accredited training programme. What will I learn? You will need to complete 7-8 Units to receive this qualification. You will be able to choose these Units from the list below Personal career preparation Building a personal career portfolio Demonstrating speaking and listening skills Communication in the workplace Preparing for a recruitment interview Preparing for a recruitment interview Understanding employment rights, contracts and pay Understanding welfare at work Understanding stress and stress management techniques Word processing software Understanding diversity within society Operate a computer Developing and using research skills Developing care planning skills for the care worker Understanding disability, society and the law How will I be assessed? All learners are supported to complete a Learner Portfolio. We provide learners with portfolio’s that contain all of the learning material you will need to complete the course. Am I Eligible to apply? You do not need previous qualifications to apply for this course but will need to attend an initial interview to discuss your learning needs. Where and when does the course take place? You can complete this course online or as a distance learning programme or attend our weekly class in Battersea SW11 Once per week on a Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. How much does it cost? We charge £300 for this course
No previous qualifications are required. You will need to complete our FREE online English literacy and numeracy test before starting your course
