This course has been designed to develop a range of skills covering core units and optional units with techniques relevant to the fashion industry. It offers the opportunity to specialise within the scope of the units available. It also offers a broad experience for fashion illustration and design including projects set by associates from industry. Pattern construction, garment production and textile embellishment all play an important part of the course. On completion of course, they can progress onto the second or third year of a degree at university.
