This course is designed for students who wish to work in the public and uniformed careers such as the ambulance, fire, army and police services. They will cover units: public service skills, citizenship, the individual and society, adventurous activities and team work for the public services, employment in the uniformed public services, sport and recreation in the uniformed public services. After completing this course students will progress onto BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Uniformed Public Services.
Students must have either 4 GCSEs at least 2 graded D or above in relevant subjects or a Merit grade or above BTEC Introductory Diploma in a related area.
