This course covers units: communication and individual rights within health and social care and anatomy and physiology, human lifespan and development, cultural diversity in health and social care, creative activities in health and social care and the impact of diet on health. After completing this course students will progress onto BTEC National Diploma in Care, National Diploma in Health Studies or employment in Health and Social Care.
Students must have 2 GCSE passes grade D or above in relevant subjects; a BTEC Level 1 Foundation Diploma or a related Level 1 qualification.
