Research projects are formulated within any area of the school research interest; research in the School is particularly focused on fundamental studies of the materials and processes related to the formation and evolution of the Earth and the Solar System; development and the evolution of the Earth's lithosphere; and systems at the Earth's surface, including those at the interfaces between the geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere and biosphere.
