This course will give students the essential practical experience and theory necessary for more advanced courses and a career in welding. The core subjects of the course include working safely in an industrial environment, developing themselves, quality control and working with other people on engineering activities. They will also study specialist options including joining metals by welding, producing platework and sheet metal components and assemblies.
Candidates must be employed in the Industry and complete an interview and initial assessment.
