This course suits adults who want to develop their English language skills at level 1 to improve their employment chances and as a route into studying HE courses in an English language setting. This level 1 English as a Foreign Language course aims to develop speaking and listening, reading, writing and grammar skills at upper intermediate level and is suitable for learners who are currently working or studying in the UK but plan to return to their own country in the long term. This course covers English speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar at level 1. Learners will take the Cambridge First Certificate exam in June. A wide range of occupations, depending on your prior employment and educational experience. You can progress to: advanced English language courses, a literacy or numeracy course at the appropriate level, a vocational or academic course at the appropriate level and employment.
What are the entry requirements? There are no formal entry requirements. You will need to attend an interview and sit a short assessment.
