This course is designed to teach participants, an awareness of both fashion items and the industry. They will learn about fabrics, patterns, and the basic equipment needed for garment construction. The course content includes: fashion awareness, fibres in common use, closings and fastenings, fabric layout and fashion awareness. On completion participants will also gain a Diploma issued by Stonebridge Associated Colleges.
