Course Description
The Drama field at Kingston enables you to engage with the practice, history and theory of drama in a range of contexts and settings. 'Making Theatre', whether as actors, directors, writers or designers, is a theme which links all modules. You will have opportunities to work with leading practitioners and to be actively involved with productions both inside and outside the University. At most levels of the course there will be a balance of theory and practice. Every module contains both written work and practical presentation as part of the assessment strategy. The course team has links with the world of theatre and television and close association with Kingston's exciting new theatre. Our location provides easy access to London's West End and South Bank, as well as to a variety of other theatres.

Assessment method
Your progress will be assessed in a variety of ways, reflecting the diverse learning experiences you will encounter as you go through the three levels of your degree. These will include essays, reports, diaries, reviews, a range of practical assignments, work-based placements and internships with local theatres.
