This is a former Birkbeck College Faculty of Life-Long Learning class. Taught by Peter Storfer, Senior Lecturer, the class is both a rigorous study of the play texts and their productions, exploring how the two interrelate. The class participants choose each of the plays for study. Plays can be from any era of theatre and can be in production in London's National, West End or fringe venues. The only provisos are that the plays should both be published and in production somewhere in London. It is usual for the class lecturer to arrange a 'group visit' to the theatre for a majority of the group. This allows for substantial discounts on theatre tickets.
There are no entry requirements other than an enthusiasm for theatre.
