The main difference between the Bachelor's in Divinity and the Bachelor's in Theology is that Greek and Hebrew language modules are compulsory for Bachelor's in Divinity but optional for Bachelor's in Theology; the main areas of study are: Old Testament, New Testament, Systematic Theology, Church History, Pastoral Theology, Greek Language, and Hebrew Language; other options are available.

Modules

Stage 1: Introduction to Biblical languages; introduction to Old Testament; introduction to New Testament; early Church history; introduction to theological thinking; either: introduction to pastoral theology or Biblical texts. Stages 2 and 3: Students take 12 further theology modules: 6 level 2 modules at stage 2 and 6 level 3 modules at stage 3; students must take at least 1 module (either at stage 2 or stage 3) from each of Old Testament; New Testament; Church History; and Philosophy/Historical Theology; students must also take at least 2 language-based modules across levels 2 and 3.
