This course is a vocationally related qualification designed for participants who want to pursue a career in sport and will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. It covers subjects which include: health safety and injury, preparation for sport, sport leadership skills, the body in sport, the sports industry and work-based project. It is also available for international participants.
Participants should have completed 2 GCSEs at grades A*-D, Foundation Learning in Sport and Leisure or Other recognised UK and overseas related FE Level 1 awards.
