This new course will enable you to build on your managerial and care skills gained in a variety of health or social care settings, or to gain recognition for your existing skills and experience. You are likely to be an assistant or deputy manager involved in running a facility providing services for vulnerable children, adults or both, or a manager wishing to gain a recognised qualification at Level 5. There are six pathways available, depending on your job role:- * Children and Young People's Residential Management * Children and Young People's Management * Children and Young People's Advanced Practice * Adults' Residential Management * Adults' Management * Adults' Advanced Practice
There are no formal entry requirements, but you must be employed in a management role within the social care industry and you must be capable of working at a Level 4 standard. You will also need an appropriate level of literacy and numeracy to enable you to meet the requirements of study at this level.
