This course is aimed at participants who are looking to work in the beauty industry. It helps them to develop and practice the skills required for employment in industry. It covers contents which include: working in beauty related industries, follow health and safety in the salon, client care and communication in beauty related industries etc. On completion of course, they can progress on to Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Beauty Therapy.
Participants should have minimum of 3 GCSEs at grades A*-D in academic subjects, English and science.

First year was very relevant to my work, but I have found the second year more set up for mechanical engineering....more
the course was a part time one attended by people with varying levels of ability and expereince. The teaching was pitched at the correct level and started each week with an hour of theory followed by 4hrs of practical work in the kitchens....more
