The course is a one year fast track which, involves practical skills in Manicure and Pedicure treatments, Wax depilation treatments of all body areas. Facials include skills in skin cleansing, facial massage, and prescribing skin care programmes for a variety of skin types. Spay and Manual tan application.
This has been a major qualification since 1962 and covers face massage and skin care, apply and instruct on make-up, provide lash and brow treatments, manicure and pedicure. The Beauty Department offers a full Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle) for all students to access from home should they wish to do so. This will be an invaluable tool for all learners across the section to guide through course schemes, assessment tracking and discussion forum.
Attendance for all sessions is an important requirement from both college and the awarding body , failure to comply may affect your achievement.
