Designer Courses was set up by designer, author and leather expert Katherine Pogson in 2005 to provide short practical courses and hands-on training in contemporary craft and design.

About Katherine:

Katherine specialises in decorative and construction techniques for leather, as well as pattern-cutting, and has created work for Trussardi Milan, Donna Karan New York, Mulberry Home and Hussein Chalayan. She published ‘Complete Leatherwork’, a practical ‘how to’ book for leather techniques with a decidedly contemporary twist in 2009 and was awarded a QEST scholarship by the Royal Warrant Holder’s Association in 2011.
