Course Description
Course equips students with the technical knowledge and management skills to enable them to fill appointments concerned with information systems in the Ministry of Defence (or equivalent), Research and Development Establishments, and Command and Control Project Teams. Course provides: part 1: an introduction to programming, information systems, communications and networks; understanding of the principles, operation and design of computer systems, and of advances and trends in hardware and software technology; part 2: appreciation of the nature of organisations, their use of information, and their information systems requirements and problems; part 3: experience in the use of current tools and methodologies in the design of information systems to meet real organisational needs.

Entry Requirements
Course intended for UK, NATO and Commonwealth Service officers plus students from the Civil Service, industry and teaching institutions. Honours degree, or degree plus relevant experience or equivalent qualification required; students not having English as their native tongue must also attain an IELTS score of 7.0.
