Through a mix of academic and practical work students develop an understanding of design, acquire new designing skills and build a portfolio of design projects as a strong foundation for future study or work experience; the course looks at common principles of design and ways of thinking that lead to ideas and creative solutions; students complete many hands-on activities and interact with their fellow students as they experience a completely different way of learning.
