In this course students gain contextual knowledge, practical, multidisciplinary skills and intellectual capability on the Master of Design course, which opens up thinking as students progress towards a leadership career in the creative industries; the course focuses on developing the collaborative approach required by today�s creative industries; globally-focused case studies broaden perspectives and increase students understanding of international design and business practices; core to this course is the method of design thinking, adopted by leading organisations in the world as an innovative problem-solving process; the course challenges students to experiment with ideas in order to develop innovative solutions.
Stage 1: design (cultural and contextual studies); design thinking (methods and processes); global society and economy; stage 2: professional practice in management and consulting; studio practice; strategic design and innovation.
