In this course, participants will explore psychoanalytic perspectives on depression. They will look at Freud, Klein and Winnicott and their different views and they will also look at depression in the consulting room and compare a psychoanalytic approach with that of the current recommendations from NICE. Participants are encouraged to bring examples from their own clinical work.
