Course Description
This practical course provides a step-by-step guide to the procedures for collecting debts through the County Court, highlighting all the recent changes and ensuring that delegates understand their significance to their own particular situation. It examines the issues to be considered beforehand, how to start proceedings and what happens thereafter, with particular attention to such aspects as time limits and charging interest on debts. It shows how to avoid being out-manoeuvred by the debtor, how to deal with defended claims and how to enforce judgment as effectively as possible.

Venue Description
The Maidenhead Holiday Inn is a comfortable modern hotel with excellent training facilities, easily reached from the M4 or M40 motorways. From the A404(M) motorway spur from junction 8/9 off the M4 motorway towards Henley, High Wycombe and the M40, take the exit nearest the M4, which is marked for White Waltham and Cox Green. At the T-junction turn towards Maidenhead town centre and the hotel is a short distance on the right hand side. There is ample parking for all visitors.
