De Montfort University (DMU) is one of the UK’s most dynamic post-1992 universities, with a wide range of professional and creative programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level. DMU has approximately 23,000 students studying over 400 programmes at our Leicester Campus. Our City Campus is self-contained, yet integrated within the city, with pubs, restaurants and shops only a short distance away. DMU is the leading post-1992 University for Research according to the Government’s last Research Assessment Exercise, having received total funding of £4.3 million. Our world-changing research projects include intelligent robots, mapping carbon emissions in Leicester, 3D television, new ways of treating cancer, online orchestras and much more. Many of our programmes are designed in conjunction with industry, and high quality work placements are available in many different areas. Our postgraduates are highly employable, and valued by business. 98.6% of DMU postgraduates are in work or further study within six months of completing their programme, and have an average salary of £26,840. We work with companies including the BBC, BMW, Next, Adidas, HSBC, Confetti Studios and Agent Provocateur to name but a few.
