Katherine Elizabeth is a London based, multi-award winning milliner, whose achievements include the Walpole Crafted Scheme, Lff Profile Awards, and the Dzina Fashion Awards. Last race season saw the debut of Katherine as a guest presenter on the BBC’s Royal Ascot screening, and a special exhibition of her work ran at Coutts Bank and Somerset House during London's last Fashion Week.
Past commissions include work for John Galliano, House of Dior via Stephen Jones, JasperGarvida and Asudari shows at Paris Fashion Week. Clients include Dita Von Teese, Lily Allen, The Noisettes, stage, film and new Downton Abbey release.

In this day class we teach you all the basics in blocking, wiring and edging a headpiece. This is essential in creating hats and one of the most fundamental parts of it. We then show you how to manipulate sinamay for trimmings, cut, strip and curl feathers as well as create interesting fabric trimming to adorn your headpiece. Please bring a pack lunch, we will provide tea, coffee and cakes. All fabrics are provided but you are welcome to also bring some if you wish. Once you are hear you will be able to see the latest Katherine Elizabeth collection as this will then give you ideas on your won creations and help with the designing process. Everything is explained at the beginning and all students will learn how to block using age old millinery techniques.
