This course consists of the following: Implement professional practice, develop a deeper understanding of dance Performing Arts Business Rehearsing Contemporary Dance Techniques Composition and Improvisation Body Maintenance and Health Physical Theatre Ballet Jazz and Musical Theatre Other additional qualifications are available
Students will require an audition and must have ONE of the following: 5 GCSEs Grades A*-C including English Performing Arts BTEC First Diploma at Merit Grade (including Communication Level 2 or English GCSE at Grade's A-C) Creative and Media Diploma Level 2 Performing Arts BTEC First Certificate at Merit grade plus 3 GCSE's at Grades A*-C including English ALL students to have experience of and/or a genuine interest in the performing arts. Entry is possible under exceptional circumstances for candidates with strong relevant experience. Evidence of ability in and a commitment to the performing arts is essential
