Course Description
This course prepares students for NPTC certification but the tests are not administered by the College and details of how to apply for examination will be provided during the course. The PA1 foundation module covers the law and regulations as laid down by the Food and Environment Protection Act. The PA6 module covers the competent use and calibration of a knapsack sprayer and is run consecutively with PA1.

Assessment method
Assessment will includes Practical and verbal assessment by NPTC Assessor.

Students should have basic literacy and numeracy.
