Criminologists are interested in why some activities come to be defined as crime, while others do not, and why such definitions of crime vary across countries and over time; criminology includes a wide range of social and psychological theories that attempt to explain crime; social policy is concerned with the effects of government policies on individuals, families and communities, and with the practical, political and ideological reasons behind such policies; students have the opportunity to spend time studying in 1 of the partner Universities in Spain (Barcelona) and Sweden (L�nd).
