Course Description
The Criminology strand involves the study of Crime, Social Order & Control and seeks to address such fundamental questions as, 'What is crime/Who makes the laws/How are these enforced & Who are the criminals'? The programme incorporates a multi disciplinary approach, drawing on such subjects as Psychology, Sociology, History & Law. Typical modules covered include; Justice, Punishment, Social Exclusion, The Media, Transnational Crime & examines the distinctions between 'White Collar' & Organised Crime.
