This exciting, unique course has been developed in collaboration with the Metropolitan Police Directorate of Forensic Services. It enables you to develop the skills required for a career as a scene of crime officer (SOCO) or a police officer, and results in a professional qualification which is recognised by the main employer in this field - the Metropolitan Police.
160 UCAS points from one of the following:2 A Levels at Grade C, including Science BTEC National Diploma / Certificate in a related subject Advanced GNVQ with Merit A recognised Access to Higher Education Certificate in a related subject. In addition:4 GCSEs at Grade C, including English Language and Mathematics with Science desirable, or equivalent. Applicants who do not meet these entry criteria will be considered based on equivalent qualifications, previous experience, a College assessment and an applicant interview. For International StudentsAlong with the above qualifications, you will also need an IELTS 5.5 (with at least 5.0 in each component), or equivalent.
