This course allows students to explore the city as subject matter from a range of perspectives and across all genres; it also gives students a theoretical and practical platform from which to develop their understanding and become part of the London writing scene.
In the 1st semester 2 modules from: conflict and the city; language and the imagination; tales of the city; in the 2nd semester: creative practice; mapping the city; the writing business; the writing project.
