This course aims to produce highly skilled computer games artists who are well prepared for future trends in this fast paced media; the course is approximately 80% practical, using industry standard software from the start of the course; previous experience of using computers is not necessary as everyone is introduced to the basic principles of computer games design when they first start the course; the course culminates with the 3rd year major project which enables students to pull together all the elements of their previous 2 years of study to produce a professional interactive showpiece.
