This degree programme has an across-the-board commitment to combining practice and theory, so that creative skills are considered central to conceptual understandings; there is also a fundamental concern to place the work of the artist in its aesthetic, cultural and social context; creative arts offers students a way to study two arts disciplines in a stimulating environment of student and professional exhibitions, presentations and performances; it is particularly suited to students who wish to extend their skills and understanding in more than one art form to a high level and want to explore the relationships between practice and theory in those art forms.
