SUPPORTWhilst studying with Open Learning, you will be supported by the Open Learning Team, you will have access to the College Libraries, and the IT Centre.You will be assigned a tutor who is a subject specialist in your chosen course. Your tutor is there to support you through the course, provide assistance with the learning materials and give feedback on your assessments.COURSE DURATION The course is designed to take 200 hours. You should aim to complete the course within 12 months.
Course Fees
This course costs £275.00 (subsidised rate for students who have been resident in the E.E.A. for 3 years). Fee waivers may apply.
Entry Requirements
It is highly recommended that students complete the unit D4 Communication and Project Management prior to starting the project. This will enable students to plan and present their projects in a professional manner. The standard expected on this course equates to NVQ Level 5. Entry requirements for potential candidates are HNC/HND qualifications or equivalent vocational experience. Those who do not possess any of these should complete the HN Unit (equivalent to Level 3) Fundamentals of Quality Assurance or the CQI Certificate in Quality Assurance before commencing (both offered by Open Learning).Prospective students should be aware that they would be required to make mathematical calculations for two of the Diploma units.If you are unsure of your pre-entry qualifications, please contact Bill Rattray b.rattray@abcol.ac.uk
Equipment and Materials
Students enrolling on this Module must have successfully completed at least three other modules from the CQI Diploma one of which should be D4 Communication and Project Management. However, students may wish to take this module last to make the most of learning and experiences of other modules. All students must register and pay a registration fee with CQI in order for the Award to be issued.
