About this course

This course provides the opportunity to develop an understanding of counselling theory and practise skills at an advanced level. Course content: Counselling theory and skills Weekly Learning reviews Six peer counselling sessions in own time and a case study Please note: Six sessions of personal counselling are required during the course which the student has to self fund. After this course: Progression to Therapeutic Counselling CPCAB Level 4 Diploma or a Foundation Degree in Counselling.

Additional entry requirements

Students need to have completed a level 2 Certificate in Counselling skills including 90 hours or relevant occupational experience.
