Course Description
This course introduces the basic concepts of the person - centred approach and counselling skills. The open programme offers course members the opportunity to sample the style of an experiential counselling skills course. Also included are activities on effective listening; attending skills; effective responding skills; giving and receiving constructive feedback; respecting difference and cultural diversity and to further personal development and self awareness.
Course Fees
£260; £125 concession fee
Assessment method
Students are expected to keep a journal to record their experiences and learning and write an essay. The use of computers is mandatory and there is a minimum 80% attendance requirement to successfully complete the programme.
