Day 1 Complete registration documentation. Cat2 application form. Gas Safety Legislation. Gas Emergency. Combustion inc: workshop hotplate burners, effects of carbon monoxide poisoning. Tightness testing and purging up to 28mm pipework inc: gas rates and heat inputs (workshop) Ventilation inc: workshop ventilation suitability and sizing. Day 2 Ventilation continued. Pipework inc: workshop pipe board fault-finding exercise, pipe sizing. IGE/UP1 edition 2. Tightness Testing and Purging U16/G10 Meters and 28mm to 35mm pipework. Gas Safety Controls inc: flame rectification/ionisation, zero governors. Day 3 Chimney Standards/Flues inc: flueless, open flued, room sealed (balanced/fan flued and condensing) Flue Flow and Spillage Testing (workshop). Gas Industry Unsafe situations. Labels.
