Course Description
This is a practical, work-related course wherein students learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. As well as learning about the employment area they have chosen, they will develop the skills needed to start a career. The course is made up of eighteen units - five core units and one specialist unit and a choice of twelve specialist units.
Assessment method
All units are assessed and graded. An overall grade for the qualification is awarded.
Entry Requirements
BTEC First Certificate or Diploma in a related subject or an Intermediate GNVQ in a related subject or at least four GCSEs at grades A*-C to include mathematics and English.
