The course is designed for construction and legal professionals with an interest in developing knowledge and application of construction law for practical use in the workplace; it combines electronic distance learning technology with online seminars, workshops and close tutorial support to provide flexibility of learning to suit individual needs; the programme places considerable emphasis on the application of the law in problem-solving and problem-avoidance situations within the context of the construction industry; the MSc stage of the programme enjoys accreditation from both the RICS and the CIArb.
