Course Description
This is an introductory course for people who have responsibility for grazing livestock or who work on a conservation site that has grazing livestock. Topics include basic livestock handling skills, health assessment of livestock, temporary fencing systems, livestock transport, treatment and emergency care of stock worried by dogs, livestock nutrition and welfare codes of good practice. This is an ideal introductory course for Rangers and Conservation Volunteers.
