City College Southampton is a further education college which provides exceptional vocational and academic training for young people and adults.
The V1 Award in Conducting Internal Quality Assurance of the Assessment Process is to be updated. The current draft replacement has been titled Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices. The qualification has been designed for individuals who are responsible for internally assuring the quality assurance of National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) in the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and for those who will be quality assuring qualifications within the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) that use the term ‘NVQ’ in their title.
You will need to internally verify candidates’ work from two assessors. You will need to have gained your assessor qualification D32/33 or A1/A2, and have at least 1 year’s occupational competence. You will need to update your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) twice a year.
