Students get a grounding in computer science, computer systems, communications and software development; they gain knowledge of computer crime, police and forensic methods, and the legal requirements for collecting evidence; gain an understanding of how to manage security within an organization; they are also able to appreciate the security needs of networks, users and applications within that organisation.
