Course Description
This course has been design for candidates with little or no travel experience who wish to enter the travel industry, or existing travel staff who would like to progress into business travel. Suitable for students completing either the Level 1 or 2 Fares and Ticketing courses at Cavendish College. The aim of this course is to familiarize the students with one of the standard computer reservation packages that is widely used within the air travel industry. Students will study: Encoding and Decoding; Flight availability; Selling Air Segments; Entering passenger details; Seat assignments; Fare calculations; Hotel and car booking; Visa and Health requirements.
