This course is aimed at those who have gone through the Level 1 course (New Clait) and are ready to learn how to integrate data from a variety of IT facilities. The student will use Microsoft Office software. There are four assignments that will be assessed by means of class-based assignments. The first three assignments cover word processing, spreadsheets and databases where you will be expected to create files from datasheets and carry out some advanced editing on the created files. The fourth assignment is the integration between the packages.
This is a natural progression from the New Clait course. Alternatively, the student should be able to prove knowledge to an ICT level 1 standard. The course tutor will be able to advise on this.
