The first year is based at Carmel College where students take foundation modules in information technology and mathematics and a choice of topics from physics, geography, biology or chemistry; subsequent years include programming in Java, computer systems, databases, human centric computing, foundations of computer science, artificial intelligence; the university may also allow changes of programme onto G501, G490 or G610 degrees; this degree includes an individual compulsory project and a group software project.
