This course develops students knowledge of aspects of the creative industries which are showing phenomenal growth worldwide; on this course students learn how to use modern software packages such as Lightwave, Toonboom and Flash to create engaging and appealing 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional computer animations; in addition, students develop skills in film and video making, sound and video editing.
Computer animation 1; the computing profession; creating multimedia; audio visual practices; design for interaction; 2-dimensional computer animation; audio and image processing; animation theory and practice; multimedia authoring; 3-dimensional animation; animation planning; programming; flash interaction.
