This course focuses specifically on the knowledge and skills necessary for the different roles within the Police Services and related civilian posts; it places great significance on the function of the PCSO (Police Community Support Officer) and also addresses the development of management related knowledge and skills with particular focus on developing Police officers with the ability to apply management principles and support the community through partnership working and facilitating crime prevention strategies.
