This programme offers study pathways that enable health care professionals to undertake a taught Master's programme which includes modules of particular relevance to the development and provision of community health services.
On-line modules: advanced research methods; the nature and scope of public health practice; community health needs; community aspirations and resources; health protection and improvement; independent exploration of practice. Classroom based modules include: advanced research methods; approaches to care delivery in community contexts; community aspirations and resources; contemporary leadership; social policy and social change; perinatal mental health; safe motherhood; social, political and cultural issues influencing maternal and infant wellbeing; sexual health: genitourinary health; sexual health: sexuality and sexual health; moral philosophy and health care ethics; women's health.
