Our online Common Core training course fulfils Ofsted registration requirements for: unqualified nannies who need induction training andqualified nannies who need to update their Common Core skills As well as covering essential skills and knowledge required by Ofsted for working with children (known as the Common Core of Skills and Knowledge for the Children’s Workforce), our course has been made more relevant for nannies by focusing on key skills to help nannies to prepare for providing a childcare service in the families’ own home. Course Content Our online Common Core training is based on the CACHE Level 3 optional unit, Understand how to set up a home-based childcare service, which has been mapped to the Common Core with a specific focus on skills for nannies. The course content covers vital skills for nannies such as communication with parents, promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding children. This online Common Core also covers essential Health & Safety knowledge and skills which is not covered in our 1 day Common Core course.
