This course is primarily aimed at those who are looking to move into the commercial gas industry from domestic, those who already hold CCN1 - domestic core gas safety. This training and ACS assessment programme has been devised in order to provide operatives with the opportunity to be industry ready and has been put together to provide individuals with the opportunity to achieve certification for the most common category of appliances and pipework. Course content includes: safety, legislation and standards; pressure and flow; combustion and gas safety controls; flues and ventilation; industrial pipe work; soundness testing and purging to IGE/UP/1A; industrial and commercial gas fired appliances; flue analysis; burner controls and control systems.
