Based in the London Borough of Brent, the College of North West London is one of the largest further education colleges in the UK. The College has three centres in North West London, Kilburn, Wembley Park and Willesden, just 20 minutes from the centre of London. All centres are easily accessed by bus and tube.

The College has a comprehensive range of largely vocational courses, enabling students to turn practical interests into a career.

What's on offer
The College is linked with local universities, including Middlesex, Kingston, Westminster and Reading a move designed to help more students to progress directly onto higher level study. Among the 14,000 students, many cultures are represented and catered for, with special facilities such as halal meals and prayer rooms. There are currently 200 international students studying at the College.

English support is available to develop language skills. The College is accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English as a foreign language and is a member of the British Association of State English Language Teaching (BASELT).

The College specialises in courses which prepare students for employment or for furthering their career prospects. Most subjects are practical including business, computing, construction, hairdressing and beauty therapy, electronics, engineering, the arts, science and management.

The College holds four Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) awards for Construction, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning & Electrical Installations, Welding & Fabrication and Retail Skills. To achieve CoVE status colleges must demonstrate high quality teaching using excellent learning resources in modern industry standard facilities.
