The aim of the course is to give the student a scientific understanding of the cellular and molecular biology of cancer, its epidemiology and pathology, and to place this in a clinical context.
Cellular and molecular biology of cancer; pathology of cancer; cancer therapy and management; epidemiology of cancer; clinical trials; dissertation; plus choices from a range of optional modules that includes: caring for cancer patients; haemato-oncology; methodological basis of HTA; paediatric oncology; radiation oncology; palliative care of cancer patients; translational research; radiation physics; radiation biology.
